ACSM Mid-Atlantic Chapter
The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (MARC-ACSM) is a diverse group of professionals and students dedicated to the advancement of sports medicine and exercise science. We serve members in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Washington, DC.
The chapter seeks to communicate scientific information, provide a forum for research, foster professional peer interaction and support career growth.

Revised MARC Bylaws are Available for Member Feedback
The MARC-ACSM Board of Directors is proposing changes to our bylaws and operating code. Highlighted changes are:
Addition of a Treasurer position to the Board
Removal of Vice President and Associate Executive Director positions from the Board and reallocation of responsibilities to the Treasurer and Secretary roles
Creation of EXPO Committee made up of MARC ACSM membership to assist in identifying and communicating with potential sponsors (Chaired by the Member-at-Large for EXPO)
Addition of an Ethics & Professional Conduct Committee and a Finance Committee made up of MARC ACSM membership
Inclusion of secure electronic voting for amendments
