ACSM Mid-Atlantic Chapter
The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (MARC-ACSM) is a diverse group of professionals and students dedicated to the advancement of sports medicine and exercise science. We serve members in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Washington, DC.
The chapter seeks to communicate scientific information, provide a forum for research, foster professional peer interaction and support career growth.

Call for 2026 MARC ACSM Session Proposals- Deadline Extended to 5/22!
Interested in presenting a session or symposium at the 2026 MARC Annual Meeting? Please see the call for session proposals here and on the MARC ACSM website. We encourage proposals that include both professionals and students. Please email your completed proposal forms to MARC President, Shannon Lennon (slennon@udel.edu) by May 22, 2026.

Call for Research Committee Applications
The MARC Research Committee is seeking applications to serve on the committee for 2026-2027. Required responsibilities of committee members include:
- Advocate for submission of abstracts in your home state/region and institution, as needed.
- Review abstracts prior to the MARC ACSM annual meeting.
- Judge at least ONE award presentation session at the MARC ACSM annual meeting.
- Judge posters at the poster session(s) at the MARC ACSM annual meeting.
- Moderate oral presentation sessions as needed.
Committee members may also be asked to:
- Attend the Research Committee meeting at the MARC-ACSM annual meeting on Friday.
- Attend the MARC-ACSM annual meeting award ceremony on Saturday.

Call for Scientific Abstract and Clinical Case Submissions
Scientific abstracts and clinical case study submissions are now being accepted for the 2026 MARC annual meeting. Please review all submission information and access the submission link on the Annual Meeting page.
All submissions must be received no later than Friday, September 11, 2026, by 11:59 p.m.
