ACSM Mid-Atlantic Chapter
The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (MARC-ACSM) is a diverse group of professionals and students dedicated to the advancement of sports medicine and exercise science. We serve members in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Washington, DC.
The chapter seeks to communicate scientific information, provide a forum for research, foster professional peer interaction and support career growth.

Call for Executive Board Nominations
The MARC-ACSM Executive Board is pleased to announce our call for Executive Board nominations. The Executive Board seeks nominations for the following positions:
President-Elect (3-year term)*
Year 1 (President-Elect)
Year 2 (President)
Year 3 (Immediate Past President)
Member-at-Large (2-year term)
Physician-at-Large (2-year term)
Secretary (2-year term)
Treasurer (2-year term)
*Nominations for the office of President-Elect must have previous experience serving in an official role on the MARC-ACSM Executive Board.
Descriptions of Board member roles can be found on page 11 of the MARC ACSM Operating Codes. All nominees are subject to approval by the MARC-ACSM Board of Directors. Notification regarding the next steps in the election process will occur by mid-September.
To nominate yourself or a colleague, please complete the nomination form by Friday, September 11, 2026.

Scientific abstracts and clinical case study submissions are now being accepted for the 2026 MARC annual meeting. Please review all submission information and access the submission link on the Annual Meeting page.
All submissions must be received no later than Friday, September 11, 2026, by 11:59 p.m.
